Bear Brook State Park
Bear Brook State Park is one of New Hampshire’s largest state parks, boasting 10,000 acres of mountains, ponds, and marshes along with 40 miles of trails. Hikers can stroll along Bear Brook on the Bear Brook Trail or hike up to a scenic view on Catamount Hill.
Pawtuckaway State Park
Pawtuckaway State Park is the perfect place to spend a day, weekend, or vacation with the family. Abundant in wildlife and diverse in ecosystems, the park offers a range of scenery and recreational opportunities. In addition to Pawtuckaway Lake, there are countless smaller lakes, ponds, and marshland to explore, with trails that lead visitors through the forest.
Rollins State Park
Located just outside of downtown Warner off I-89, Rollins State Park features hiking trails to the peak of Mt. Kearsarge. In the summer, a scenic roadway takes visitors to within a quarter mile of the summit, where there are excellent views of Vermont and Boston.
Elm Brook Park
This large U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area, which encompasses Elm Brook Lake, Drew Lake, Stumpfield Marsh and Stark Pond, offers great fishing, swimming, and hunting on Everett and Hopkinton lakes. Elm Brook Park also has four public picnic areas, making it perfect for an outdoor gathering.
Enjoy one of Concord’s best parks! From Eastman Field to the Monkey Around Playground, White Park has everything a park-goer could want. With oodles of groomed trails, this park is great for a classic “walk in the park.” During the summertime, catch an evening baseball game or play a game of pick-up basketball under the lighted court. White Park is home to the largest playground in Concord; the Monkey Around Playground.
